We all have moments in our lives that have been etched in our memories.

Like when you were a kid playing tag with your friends and lunchtime was getting closer. You could almost smell the food, and when you got home starving, your mom or dad would already have set the table; you’d sit down impatiently, the smell filling the whole house. You remember your parents calling, “Kids, to the table!” and you and your siblings laughing because you’d been dipping breadcrumbs in the oil for ages while you waited.

And finally, the food was right in front of you, freshly made, fresh from the oven or the stove, straight from the kitchen. You could smell that familiar aroma of your mother’s macaroni Bolognese or your father’s fried eggs with bacon on Sunday mornings.

Home Chef was born from that family spirit.

Since 2002, we have maintained that essence, which we share with everyone, because we are convinced that, when it comes to food, if we can evoke that love and familiar approach, we can win over even the most discerning palates. And with a selection of locally sourced products and a diverse menu, we can offer a wide range of options.

From a simple breakfast for two, to business meetings, special occasions such as a birthday, a wedding, to group menus, work menus and events for more than 600 people.

Whatever it is, for us the important thing is that everything, absolutely everything, goes
from our kitchen to wherever you want.

Our Chef Eugeni Cortés

Eugeni Cortés is a chef academically trained at the Sant Narcís Hospitality School in Girona.

With extensive professional experience, he has worked at the historic Brasserie Flo restaurant in Barcelona and as executive chef of the Hotel Le Meridien Barcelona and responsible for the gastronomic offer of its restaurant Centonze, among other establishments.

His cuisine is based on minimal manipulation of seasonal produce and enhancing it, taking advantage of its aromas and textures.
